Ajar Studio
AJAR is a small totebag brand inspired by the feeling of a door left slightly open—an invitation to move, carry, wander, and stay curious. Each bag is designed for everyday life: studio days, grocery runs, campus walks, and all the in-between moments that make up a city day.
Founded, designed, and self-published by Maral, AJAR started as a personal experiment in simple, honest design and grew into a limited-edition series of bags. Over the course of 10 months, around 100 AJAR totes were produced and sold—each one part of a small, intentional batch.
AJAR focuses on clean forms, thoughtful proportions, and practical details. The totes are meant to be reliable companions—roomy enough for books, laptops, and sketchbooks, but calm and understated in their appearance. Organized and managed independently from start to finish, AJAR celebrates functionality, softness, and a quiet sense of style that leaves space for you, your mood, and your daily rituals.
